Conducts "Supervisory Training Program" for the

Western Kentucky Construction Association


On December 13, 2001, the local Chapter of the Associated General Contractors, the Western Kentucky Construction Association, requested Denton & Keuler to conduct its Supervisory Training Program for 2002.  Denton & Keuler answered the call and gladly facilitated the program.

Executive Director, Mike Gerescher, stated the program extended over a five-week period that began on January 17, 2002, and ran through February 21, 2002. Sessions were Thursday evenings at the Paducah Information Age Park facilities and lasted three hours each.

  • Contractual Relationships
  • Contract Forms and Documents
  • Managing General Conditions
  • Good Documentation Practices
  • Changes
  • Differing Site Conditions
  • Time Impacts
  • Resolving Issues through Negotiation
  • Worker's Compensation Overview
  • Lien Filings

In attendance were local contractors and their key employees. Participants were encouraged to be involved in  session discussions by presenting real-life scenarios based on their actual experiences. This involvement  enriched each session and proved to be worthwhile discussions.

Denton & Keuler attorneys involved were Thomas Keuler, Bill Pinkston, Lisa Emmons, David Kelly, Ted Hutchins, Glenn Denton and Patrick Windhorst. Each attorney spoke on topics in which he or she practices.
