Associated Industries of Kentucky (AIK Comp) held its 2003 Forum on October 7, 2003, at the J.R's. Executive Inn in Paducah, Kentucky. Attendees, numbering approximately 50, included representatives of health, manufacturing, and insurance industries as well as AIK's insureds.
 

Attendees from Denton & Keuler included David Denton, Bill Pinkston, David Kelly, Geordie Garatt, and paralegal Vickey Martin.

Attorney David Denton introduced Department of Workers' Claims Commissioner Larry Greathouse as the keynote speaker who spoke about significant topics and trends relating to Workers' Compensation awards in Kentucky.

Attorney Bill Pinkston presented a "Practical Guide to Workers' Compensation: The Employer's Perspective" which focused on safety in the work environment and the employer's obligations to document and investigate when a workplace injury occurs.

Attorney David Kelly's presentation focused on employment issues with discussion centering on the relationship of the American with Disabilities Act and Family Medical Leave Act to workplace injuries.
