On August 24, 2007, at the top of the Grand Basin in Forest Park, St. Louis, Missouri, Ms. Ashley Small agreed to marry Mr. Samuel J. Wright.
Ms. Small is the daughter of Keith and Kim Jones and Stuart Small, all of Paducah. Mr. Wright is the son of Samuel B. Wright of Louisville and the late Donna Eckenberg of Paducah. He is the stepson of R. Stanley Eckenberg, also of Paducah.
Ms. Small is a graduate of Lone Oak High School and Berea College in Berea, Kentucky. She is completing her master’s degree in social work at the George Warren Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis. Ms. Small is the Program Director at Caring for Kids, Inc. in St. Louis.
Mr. Wright is a graduate of St. Mary High School and Murray State University. He attended law school at Southern Illinois University School of Law. Mr. Wright is an attorney at Denton & Keuler, LLP. Prior to returning to Paducah, Mr. Wright was an associate attorney at a law firm in downtown St. Louis.
A wedding is planned for May 2008 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. |
