Susan Guess of Paducah Bank has been named 2009 chairwoman of the Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce board in the business-advocacy organization’s 70th year of operation.

Besides Guess, other new executive committee members are Helen Sims, Superior Care Home, chairwoman-elect; Glen Anderson, Paducah Water, vice chairman; David Simon, CSI, treasurer; Robyn Shapiro, Rene’ Advertising Specialties, vice chairwoman,
membership and marketing; Brian Van Horn, Murray State University, vice chairman, education and work force; Tom GarrettP&L Railroad, vice chairman, community and business development; Lynn Smith, Lourdes Hospital, vice chairwoman, governmental affairs; and Mike Karnes, Williams, Williams, & Lentz, immediate past chairman.

New board members are David Mast, Utilities Dynamics; Kristin Williams, KRW Consulting; Sam Wright, Denton & Keuler; Michael Byers, Crounse Corp.; and Erik Wolfe, Leadership Paducah Foundation.
