Sarah Elizabeth Leatherman and Brent Thomas Burgess were united in
marriage May 6 at Renee's, with the Rev. Leland Hayden officiating. Recorded music was presented by Mike. Cornwell of Paducah.
The bride is the daughter of Fredrick and Judith Leatherman of Paducah. The groom is the son of Malinda Mathis of Paducah, and Thomas Jerry and Marie Burgess of Benton.
The bride chose Mrs. Stacey Holler of Paducah as her matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Amy Duncan of Livingston County; and Mrs. Cindy Holfer and Ms. Ashley Crouch, sister of the groom, both of Paducah. Serving as flower girls were Miss Taylor Ballard and Miss Madison Smithson, daughters of James and Stacey Holler of Paducah. Ringbearer was Cameron Tyler Burgess of Paducah, son of the bride and groom.
The groom chose his brother, John Michael Pace of Paducah, as his best man. Groomsmen were Marvin Bellinger, William Murphy and Derek Leatherman, brother of the bride, all of Paducah. John Michael Pace and Derek Leatherman also served as ushers.
A reception followed.
The bride is a graduate of St. Mary High School and attended Paducah Community College. She is employed by C-Plant Federal Credit Union.
The groom attended Lone Oak High School. He is employed by VMV, G&C Multi-Services and Hanger Prosthetics and Orthotics.
The couple resides in Paducah.
