Dwayne and Susan Wieneke of Metropolis, Ill., announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth Ann Wieneke, to Samuel Gene-Ruoff Clymer, son of Judge and Mrs. Craig Zeiss Clymer of Paducah.

Miss Wieneke is the granddaughter of Don and Alice Smith of Metropolis, and Cecil and Sharon Wieneke of Metropolis. She is a 2000 graduate of Massac County High School, a 2004 summa cum laude graduate of Murray State University and an alumna of Alpha Sigma Alpha sorority. She is a second-year law student at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale.

Mr. Clymer is the grandson of Martha Zeiss Clymer of Paducah and the late Earl "Bubba" Clymer, and the late Gene G. and Kathleen Barnhill Ruoff. He is a 1996 graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School, a 2000 cum laude graduate of Murray State University, and a 2004 graduate of the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law. He is an alumnus of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. He is an associate attorney with the law firm of Denton & Keuler LLP.

Wedding vows will be exchanged at 7 p.m. May 20 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church.
